Amateur wrestling has been an important part of my life for so long it is difficult for me to remember when it wasn't. I am honored to have been a member of the United States Greco-Roman Team in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and among the first on the US World Team to medal internationally in all three wrestling disciplines: Greco, Freestyle, and Sombo.

As most athletes know, competition and training at this level over so many years can come with a serious physical price. On two separate occasions while wresting for a world title, I have had both my back and neck broken. In recent years I have suffered with chronic knee pain in both knees and contemplated total knee replacement surgery. The occasional use of a cane, and even a walker at times, has been a bitter pill to swallow.

In late February of this year, I received a call from an old friend and one-time wrestling student of mine who was brimming with enthusiasm about a product called Life Shotz.
