WELCOME TO LAKE CITY
LIfe Shotz is located in the lakeside city of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Just 30 minutes
east of Spokane, Washington, the northern Idaho Panhandle is an outdoor-lovers haven
of spectacular natural beauty.
Fort Coeur d’Alene was constructed in the 1870s at the instruction of General William
T. Sherman. The city that grew up around it now boasts a population approaching
50,000. Coeur d’Alene continues to expand as people flock here for its promise of
fresh air and abundant year-round activities.
Summers are characterized by long, warm days spent shooting a round at one of the
area’s 18 beautiful golf courses (one of which is home to what is billed as
the “world’s only floating green") or getting back to basics
at the region’s 87 parks and campgrounds.
Cold weather activities are just as plentiful, with the three local ski areas combining
for over 100 named trails crossing thousands of acres of challenging terrain.
For those who like to go a little faster, the state is also home to more groomed
trails than any other in the west.
Lake Coeur d'Alene is the biggest draw, however, and it's a big reason that “Lake
City” is known for having some of the country's most gorgeous scenery. With 135 miles of shoreline and tons of love from anglers, recreational boaters, and those who simply love to get away from it all, Coeur d'Alene is truly legendary.
