Wealth Building

We provide a platform that supports your passion and dreams. Whether you want to get out of debt, take that vacation you’ve always wanted or fire your boss, Richard’s book The Four Year Career® has helped thousands of people find a clear path to what financial freedom means to them.

How Our Business Opportunity

Works … or Doesn’t

For those who do not understand our business model …

Most people do not. Most of the media does not. Most regulators think they do … but they do not. Most of the public does not. And Life Matters is unique in how we apply the Network Marketing model to our business.

First and foremost, Life Matters is a customer acquisition business. Our goal is to attract as many repeat customers as possible. The more repeat customers we have, the more residual (reliable) our income is … income as a company and income for you as a distributor.

  • How do we gather customers?
    1. By developing exclusive, stellar products that are competitively priced and work so well that people who try them declare, “This is the best ________ I have ever used, and I will use it forever.”

People make these kinds of branding decisions throughout their lives: with the coffee they drink, the cars they drive, the shampoo they use, and the search engines they rely on. Once the experience is created and the decision is made, the customer tends to stick with that product. That is our goal. Repeat loyal customers for life.

Life Matters products are exclusively our formulations. They are not sold anywhere else. Are there similar products? Less expensive products? Even better products? Perhaps. But that “not-logic” does not stop every company on the planet from selling their products … some very successfully.

Can you buy coffee cheaper than Starbucks? Yes … but not Starbucks. Better? Perhaps. Can you buy a cheaper car than a Mercedes? Yes … and even a more expensive one. Better? Some think so. There is often a race to the bottom on price for any type of product. Life Matters is not in that race. We do not cater to the lowest expectations but rather our own. We build products YOU can be proud of.

    2. We also gather customers by attracting to our financial opportunity ambitious people who want to earn a second income. They see themselves gathering repeat customers, as well as attracting others to do the same. We increase our potential customer count every time we enroll a new distributor. It is simple math … the more distributors we have, the more customers we have. We do not apologize for it. We recruit sales people. All the time. And we always will.

Most distributors end up letting go of the idea of building a business and they just end up loyal, happy customers. Some distributors build a small business and earn a few hundred dollars a month. Some go on to build moderate or larger sales teams.

  • How do you avoid failure and loss of money?
    1. If you are going to invest in travel, training, product, materials etc., then work. Investing in any of these things just gives you an edge. It does not network for you. You have to be willing to do the work. If you have any doubts about your willingness to do the work, do not invest your money. The last thing we want is a preventable failure experience.

    2. Do not let anyone talk you into anything. Listen to people for sure. Listen to the vision they are casting for you, listen to their logic, and listen to their experience. Then make your own decision based on what is right for you. Do not make financial decisions so that you will be liked, or cool or accepted into the group. Make wise decisions.

    3. Stay part time. Notice I didn’t say “some-time.” Some-timers often lose money because they do not do the work consistently enough to create sustained profits. Part-timers work at least 5 hours a week, but stay part time.

Imagine this: Even if you hit a home run here and earn $5,000 a month, do not go full time. $5,000 a month part time is huge. You can pay off all your debts and invest in other great wealth building vehicles. But if you go full time and quit, then you are right back where you started.

    4. Auto ship. Auto ship is a convenience feature for you and your customers. Auto ship in Life Matters is designed to just accommodate your own personal usage … as a customer. Any product you are going to sample or sell, you can order manually, at will, as you need it.

You can postpone auto ship, change it or cancel it any time you want with an email or a phone call. Do not continue to order product you are not using. Do not build up an inventory of product you do not need. Just like auto shipments from Amazon or other huge retailers, these monthly shipments are a convenient program to keep you from running out.

    5. Your starter package. Some people will enroll with just a $49 enrollment. Some people will opt to start with our $399 kit. And some will add in our $500 Booster kit.

When you go to place orders for the kits, you will be required to fill out an affidavit certifying that you are making a good business decision that is right for you, that no income promises have been made to you, and that you are clear that you can cancel your distributorship at any time and get a refund on any unopened product you have left.

    6. If you find down the road that this is not working for you … that you are not enjoying it, not doing the work, or the work you are doing is not paying off, please let it go. Resign. Stay a customer or not. We want you to be happy with our brand. If there is something we can do, contact us. Just don’t stay engaged if you decide it isn’t working for you.

  • How do you succeed as a sales leader?
    1. First and foremost … work. Network Marketing by definition is about working your network by applying word-of-mouth advertising and expanding your network all the time. You market to your network by sharing your own product story, and you continue to connect with new people and add to your network.

Word-of-mouth advertising is the most credible and effective form of advertising, but unlike television, Internet or print advertising, you cannot buy it. It does not advertise itself. You have to work it. People who succeed work 5-10 hours a week, most every week. People who go on to build moderate to large businesses work 10-20 hours a week. People who hope vs. work end up giving up, as they do not produce results.

    2. Follow our system and be coachable. If you have never built a residual income in Life Matters, you do not know how WE do it. And we have people who have built very successful businesses that are more than happy to share everything they know with you. Listen, learn, be open to suggestions and follow the system.

    3. Work on your motivation. Motivation is the inner voice in your head that tells you, “You can do this,” or tells you, “You cannot do this.” Both motivate you: one to work, the other to quit. Do not leave your motivation to chance. Manage it. We will teach you how.

    4. Build a sales team. The more distributors you have on your team, the more customers you will have. Embrace the beauty and wonder that defines Network Marketing: that everyone gets to build a team … even the newest members of the team.

That ushers into our business model what is called geometric progression … a mathematical formula of compounded growth. If you enroll 4 distributors and they each do the same, you just added 16 new members to your team. If the 16 each enroll 4, you just added 64 and so on.

  • Is Life Matters one of THOSE companies?

Yes and no. We proudly employ the Network Marketing business model. We just do it differently.

Here is how we are the same:

    1. We are a Network Marketing, MLM, or Direct Sales company just like 1,000 other companies like us based in the US. Our business model has been flourishing around the world since 1946.

    2. Our distributors do approach their friends and family first to introduce our products and opportunity. And then they continue on to their coworkers and extended network. Eventually they even invite people they have just met to take a look.

    3. We are true storytellers. We tell our stories about what the products have done for us, and invite others to try them. We tell our stories about what we are building financially and why, and invite others to just take a look.

    4. Most people who attempt to be successful end up giving up … either altogether or just to remain a customer. It is not for everyone.

Here is how we are different:

    1. We do not think you SHOULD do anything … not buy our products, not become a distributor, not earn more money, not quit your job, not even get healthier. We do not impose our values on you.

    2. We do not argue with you about your opinions, objections or decisions.

    3. We do not seek to make you wrong.

    4. We do not encourage you to make decisions that are really more in our best interest than in yours.

    5. We do not make promises we cannot keep or embellish the truth. We do not make income claims … possibilities, yes. Claims, no.

    6. We do not make unsubstantiated claims for our products.

    7. We do not harass people.

    8. We do not think we are RIGHT about our products or our opportunity.

    9. We do love and honor the decisions we have made for ourselves to be Life Matters customers and distributors.

    10. We do love the Network Marketing business model, especially the geometric progression growth aspect … what Einstein called The Eighth Wonder of the World.

    11. We do love our second incomes … some of us even love abundance, freedom and wealth, and we do not apologize for it.

    12. We do love our products and our own true stories of what they have done for us.

    13. We love inviting people to “just take a look,” and letting them decide what is right for them.

    14. We love following up with people, asking them again if now might be a better time to take a look.

    15. We love to LISTEN and ask questions … authentic, curiosity-based questions so we can get to know you better, whether you become a customer or not.

    16. We love to have fun and build fantastic relationships with each other, frolicking with the world as our playground.

    17. We love to grow personally, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. We are not resting on anything. We are “Betterment Seekers.”

    18. We love our competitors. We see them as collaborators. They make us better. They make us all stronger.

    19. We love our critics. They keep us humble and sharp.

    20. We love our dreams and the paths we are all on to progressively realize them ... including the struggle. For without struggle, there can be no triumph, and we are in it for all of it. Life … it all Matters.

    21. And last but not least, we love to Inspire, Challenge, Champion, Coach and Partner with others to achieve their dreams, whether they succeed or fail. And just because most people give up, this does not deter us for a second from playing full out with everyone as though they are THE ONE.

Cynics may call that fraud, misleading or irresponsible. “How can you show people what is possible when it may be hardly possible?” they say. And we say, “How could we not?” For the only way it is possible for some, is for us to play as though it is possible for any of us.

“ANYONE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW IT WON’T WORK. FIGURE OUT HOW IT WILL.”
